My kids need to log into an education website for school but we keep getting an error message. I've also been to the Java website to verify the version of Java on our computer, but we get the same error message."ClassNotFoundException"
This is a new PC running Win7Pro. I've tried using both Firefox and IE but get the same problem.
Any ideas?
Thanks

It was J2e.com but it is not open access stuff. However, I had the same problem on the java site, testing Java version
http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp
I have now tried uninstalling the existing version of Java and reinstalling the latest version (Java v7 update 7 64bit). I then restarted the system and now, on J2e.com I get a page saying "You need Java to see this page", and when I test version of Java on the java site, I am told it is not installed. But it is there in Control Panel.
Reading Java helpfiles it seems like I needed to install the 32bit version as well, which I have now done. Now I am back to where I started with the Class error from my original post.0
