Broag Avanta 28C - New boiler ?

Hello all
Gas fitter is recommending a Broag Avanta 28c combi boiler for our new kitchen extension. Says if we wanted to upgrade a bit, to go for a Worcester Bosch CD1.
Any thoughts or adice from anyone with experience of these or actual gas fitters/plumbers would be appreciated.
I have done a bit of research into reviews on the Broag and see that there are a few negative reviews. Aware that those who are happy seldom leave a review and that it is easy to fall into the trap of thinking a product is bad whereas a fault on it it is in fact a very rare occurance.
Just in case it makes any diffferance, we live 1000 feet up on a remote hillside with hellish winds and very cold conditions in Winter (and most of Summer sadly !)

We have just had a worcester 30CDi fitted....it seems to be doing a good job...its wall mounted and the one thing I have noticed is its quite large...not too much of a problem as its downstairs in the loo but its certainly not a small and dinky object!....on the plus theres hardly any noise from it.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -
remaha (broag) is the only boiler i recommend, been fitting them for 6 yrs & not had a single prob if you want to upgrade (if you want more hot water flow rate which will of course depend on your incoming mains flow rate) go for the broag 35c, IMO the broag is a better boiler than WBI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -

Ask for the new 28C exclusive. Only a little dearer.
You get the full 5 year parts and labour warranty as standard.
Also from Monday just gone, you can upgrade this warranty to 7 years for a small extra payment, if you so wish.0 -
We have a 3.5 year old Avanta Plus 39c combi. Has had the three way valve replaced once under warranty, other than that works well and no complaints. Getting Heateam out to fix it out of warranty is very expensive though, so go for the 5 year (or longer) parts AND labour warranty if you can.0
