Ebay Fee

Hi does anyone know if I can reclaim a £5 charge that ebay have charged me for not paying my fees. I had stopped using a certain bank account that my fees are usually paid out of and so they couldn't take the money out of the account. (it was a savings account). I had arranged to start paying my fees via my credit card but they do not seem to have used this instead, probably some sort of delay in the changeover period.
I didn't know such a charge existed, and they certainly haven't sent me an email to say they were going to charge me on this occasion.
Any ideas what to do??????

Contact eBay customer service and they might refund you. However they do state that there is a £5 fee for rejected direct debits in their TOS. It would have been better to pay your balance due by credit card as a one-off payment to avoid the problem in the first place, as changes in payment methods are not immediate...
