Noticed the screen on my Kindle was only two thirds working properly yesterday, got online to Amazon at lunch time. Free replacement arrived at 10.00 am this morning. Well done Amazon

    I have used Amazon for years and I have never had a problem with them. they do seem to know how to run a business.

  • I reported my Kindle not charging the battery late on Monday evening. I'd done simple checks to eliminate faulty cables etc.
    I had taken extended warrenty with the purchase, but being over 2 years old I think that had run out.
    A replacement free of charge is being sent, under Amazon's warrenty, not anything else, so I'm really impressed with the service.

    I'm looking forward to upgrading to the new Fire :-)
