FF not letting me open same Website in another tab

in Techie Stuff
Pretty much as the title says

FF does not allow me to open up for example MSE website on 2 separate tabs

This only happened yesterday since I upgraded FF to the latest version

When I try to open another tab with MSE it switches back to the one already open

Any suggestions?

    Hmm, not heard of that, and I've just tried it myself and it allows me to open multiple versions of the same site. What version of FF are you on? I'm on 15.0.1.

    Same version

    I added a few add-ons as I hated the icons and perhaps there is a conflict

    Try running Firefox in Safe Mode (via Start button > All Programs) which will disable your add-ons
    How do I add a signature?

    I have noticed that when I open FF up next to the address there is a padlock that appears there which was never there before - is this significant?
