My daughter is in full time education at school (A levels) I'm a single mum on ESA and really struggling to put her through sixth form. I have applied for a bursary from the school and got refused
Is there any benefits my daughter could claim in her own right to help her get through sixth form?
My son is 18 years old in full time education at college I still get child benefit, child tax credit and both will be paid until he is 20 years old I have been told that by child benefit and child tax credit very recently, he started college this September weeks ago. I can't understand why you can't get the same as me I am a single parent also and on benefit under ill health. Please ring the child benefit and child tax credit they should be able to re-instate your daughter she is younger than my son you have up to 3 years worth of both child benefit and child tax credit.
I hope it has all sorted for you.

I think karenw is getting all you get, but it seems she wanted more. You should be entitled to child tax credits and child benefit for her. Thanks, is there anything else she can apply for?RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

Unfortunately, so many people let their child related benefits be absorbed by general domestic expenses that they lose sight of the reason that they're given to them.0
