    I dont know much about dmps but I think any money you get/already have should be chucked at the highest interest rate debts and you have it within your power to pay some of them off right now.

    I say throw the savings at the Capital One Mastercard and the Barclaycard with any left over at the Abbey card. Then use the minimum payments you were paying these to increase the payment to the Abbey card.

    Have a look at this website, plugging all your debts into it snowball It will show you how long it will take to pay off all your debts and the best way of doing it (to save you the most money).

    Well done for facing up to paying them off, you get there.

    If you use your savings to pay off the two cards mentioned, AND THEN CLOSED THE ACCOUNTS, this would bring down your available credit level, which should improve your credit score. This may then (in a month or two) mean that you might be able to get a lower APR credit card to transfer some of your debt onto.

    no one else will give me a cc at the moment. hoping i can try that route in 6 months. cant do nowt about other half. did attempt reduced payments!! oh thinks he has helped by putting his name to secured loan. wish id had my lightbuld moment before i got that loan its worse thing ive ever done. i am going to get my savings cashed in
