say I changed my tariff last night through my online account with British gas to their fixed price until 2014 tariff but today I'm regretting it, would they let me switch back to their regular variable online tariff today as a gesture of goodwill. 8ts been less than 12 hours so far.
they were already excellent in taking me off economy 7 and backdating the bill a few months to the start date of my account without me asking them to do so, I didn't think they would do that, only from the date I had called.

1.5 If you have a contract with us (as described in clause 1.2) you have 14 days from the day your contract was made to tell us that you want to cancel it.0 -
thank you. That was really helpful, 14 days is a lot of time and very fair. Pleasantly surprised.
don't have time today to use a comparison website so 14 days is great, can do it tomorrow.0 -

But isn't clause 1.3 relevant to the OP hence not 1.2? If so, the 14 days is for a switch.:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0
