wewillbuyyourcar.com referral?

Options
Hi,

We are thinking of selling a car through wewillbuyyoucar.com and noticed if we say someone recommended to us they will get £25 M&S vouchers. I don't know anyone personally so wondered if anyone on here has a reference number and wanted them?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post - am new at this.

Thanks.

Have you been to the doctors and had your sanity checked?

Probably the worst way to sell a car. Less likely to get robbed if you leave the
keys in the ignition in a dodgy area full of drug dealers and car theives.

    Is it even UK based?

Is it a real website? Dodgy web links?

  • Don't touch with a barge pole. There is no car that will sell for more via one of those scummy companies than it would in a short ebay auction or autotrader.

Incidentally, can you tell us more about the car? There are people on here that can give you an idea of value.
  • It's a suzuki wagon estate thing - with an 05 plate. Its actually a relatives who has been told they can't drive any more and she just wanted rid of it quickly.

Advice welcome, and no I'm not crazy :P I'd not normally consider those websites...

  • Local dealer or garage or auction or ebay or gumtree or local newspaper or card in shop/supermarket.

    Probably lot more OR's somewhere.

Watch for scammers and dont bother with web based buyers.
No car and no money leaves a bitter taste. Especially if your relatives take you to court for the loss.

For one of those on an 05 plate depending on mileage, length of tax/MOT, Man/Auto and general condition but even still you'd be looking at getting 1.5-2.5k for one easily!
If you went through that site you'd probably get £200-400 at a push! (£200 is optimistic) They'll find any fault they can to get the price down.

Best bet would be stick an auction up on eBay; yes they take a commission but at least you know you don't have to worry about trying to wait ages to find a buyer.
