How do I send an item of over £500 to a country RM dont insure to?

I have sold a small philatelic item (20g-40g) bought for over £500 by someone in Dubai UAE. Royal Mail dont insure International Signed For to that country, so what is the best shipping advice please?

Comments

  • Try a courier, someone like Transglobalexpress, but you will have to specifically check to see if the insurances covers your item, rather than just the value.

Do Royal Mail view this as sending a cash equivalent? You can normally buy compensation for goods to the UAE.
