Injured cat, advice please **UPDATE**

We had a cat come in who was walking with her foot buckled over because she was desperately trying to use a leg with no feeling, cage rest soon improved things, she just needed rest to let her leg recover and get feeling back in it.
.
This is very positive, thank you for sharing. We had a little setback last night as he got out of his 'safe place' and tried to jump onto the kitchen worktops, I just heard the thud as he landed...He just lay there all wide eyed and yelped when I tried to move him...so back to the emergency vets we went, they gave him a painkilling injection and checked him over confirming he has just landed on the sore side but hadn't done anymore damage. I actually thought maybe he had broken the sore leg, but thankfully he hadn't. He slept all night and was walking better this morning so hopefully he hasn't set his recover back.
He will be going into the cattery tomorrow where at least he will be confined and won't be able to do himself any more damage! It is going to break my heart to leave him there, I'm completely stressed out about it already...0 -
((hugs)) maybe it will be for the best, not letting him jump. I am sure the cattery staff will give him loads of attention.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

hey peeps
just wanted to share some good news!
Back from holiday to see my wee boy walking properly with just a little limp! The cattery were absolutely fantastic and really helped him with his recovery. He still doesn't have full strength back in the leg but I am sure this will improve too.
Taking him to the vet this weekend so they can have a look over but I am pretty confident he will make a full recovery.
The only issue I'm going to have going forward is keeping him indoors as I'm terrified he'll not be so lucky next time. He's already shouting at the doors wanting to go out!!
Thanks for the support guys X0 -
