Forgot to use my 5p off fuel at tesco

Does anyone know if I can go in with the receipt and have the discount applied now or if it is too late? It is good for £5 and I won't get the chance to use it again!

As far as I know it finishes today (midnight) so as long as you have the voucher you should be ok.

My voucher is still valid for a couple of days, it is just that I forgot I had a voucher and paid at pump!

I was waiting in the petrol queue at Tescos on Saturday and the nice lad in front of me came to my Window after filling up and paying and said he forgot to use his 5p off voucher and said I could have it!

Was very nice of him and was well chuffed. Made me remember there are some genuine nice people out there haha.

Doubtful as the voucher states that it must be handed over at the time of payment so you wont be able to reclaim the £3.00 or so after you have paid.

I gave one to a lad behind me at the petrol station. He took it - but looked at me stupid and said cheers in a bit of a sarcastic way.

Thats said - i did say "here - you can have a 5p coupon - it expires today".

I think he thought he was just getting 5p off in total :rotfl:
