I wouldn't get rid of them just yet.
Some of mine have leaves on them whilst some of them haven't but I'll leave them just incase.

Slightly off topic regarding raspberries but I planted a Willow tree approx 5 years ago which never took off.
It appeared to be just a dead tree in the ground and I left it for a good while before I got rid of it.
Next thing I knew was this tree started growing a good 6ft or so away from the dead Willows spot and it turned out to be a Willow tree.
Same thing happened with a Blossom tree,it grew great for the first year then died.
The following year it reappeared better than ever.
Now I just leave any trees/shrubs that appear to look dead just incase they pop up somewhere else or start growing again.

Floyd-you are far more patient than me! I couldn't cope with a bear stick for 3 years! I'd pick it out and sling it before then!

ha ha it was more because I had forgotten it was there! It was hidden behind a big clump of bamboo and when I went to do the weeding I spotted it :rotfl:
