Hi, I'm a self employed salesperson and my biggest expense by far is fuel. Would I be better off with a fuel card I do 20000 mpyear? If so which is the best for 1 vehicle?

depends on the fuel card some limit you to certain stations bp,esso texaco etc and as you will be only a single card holder you would only save a few pennies a litre so maybe £3-5 a tank saving and then you have a big fuel bill to pay off each month instead of paying as you fill
i looked into getting a card a while back and at the time tesco was doing 5p a litre off which was lower than the card price

If you have a good enough credit rating, I'd just get a cashback credit card, such as the Capital One Aspire World credit card, and put ALL your business expenses onto that - tyres, servicing as well. Along with the fuel you use you may find you get to the top cashback rate tier (£10,000/year), and along with the petrol station's loyalty scheme (Tesco Clubcard, BP/Sainsburys Nectar, Shell Drivers Club), you may find this way is actually worth it.
