LLoyds TSB no details held

Hi all,

Trying to reclaim my bank charges from LLoyds TSb as i fully believe i am now in financial hardship.

Their charges was always extortionate and massively unfair.

However, after sending them a Data request, i received a letter stating they hold no details about me or my accounts. I included all information i could however i don't know my account numbers.

Surely they should be able to find my account numbers?

Or have they sold my debt and all traces of the account?

Please help.

Many thanks all

As you are claiming under hardship criteria that means your account must be open still. So, can you not look at your bank statement, debit card or cheque book to get the account numbers?

  • No as i cut up the card and never got a cheque book. Yes the account is still open. I have since moved and notified them on 3 separate occasions and i feel this may be stopping them for confirming my details. However without my details i cant deal with the situation. Vicious circle. lol

Oh well, if they state they have no details of you as a customer, you can forget about that £1307 Lloyds TSB Overdraft in your signature.

    Result! :D

  • Result!!

But surely they should still keep a record of my account with them?

What if they have sold on my debt to a different company??

Just don't wanna get my hopes up that the debt is not applicable. lol

It may have been passed to their collections team.

There's a link to one in the Financial hardship online resources sticky thread.

I would suggest you take a look on the DFW board to see if you can find what you want.

If you can't find it there, posting for help looking for what you seek over there will probably be best :)
