Boys rough play

My little boy is never happier than when he's knocking lumps out of someone, and they are reciprocating. He'll rugby tackle kids twice his size without even thinking about it - a boy in my daughters class (who is literally almost twice the size of my son) picked him up by his hood the other day and deposited him in someones front garden, my son picked himself up, laughed, and went back for another go. it is the reason that he is constantly covered in bruises - his legs are an attractive mottled shade of purple and green, and he had a lovely blue bruise across the side of his face the other day.
Some girls do it too, but it seems to be a little boy thing.0
