E.On tariff hours
Hi - my flat is currently running on E.On track and save 13 tariff (which I believe to be the equivalent of Economy7).
Can anyone confirm exactly what hours of the day are classed as peak and off-peak? I cant seem to find any clear clarification of this on my paperwork.
Thanks in advance;)

You need Eon to confirm this for you.
The reason is that there are multiple types of E7 meter in each region operating with different times.
Your supplier can determine this by obtaining a data item from your meter details, which they have already, called Standard Settlement Configuration (SSC) and they combine it with your distribution region code (meters are still per the old regional days) to find this out.
If your meter is a time switch one, the data they use is online. If you have a radio teleswitch meter, there is no national document and the times can change very slightly here and there due to signal relaying (often 15 mins but can be up to an hour). Suppliers don't always know these do it might be best to either a) monitor it yourself or b) send your SSC to the distributor as they control the signal.:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0 -
Hi ch5
As Terry says, Economy 7 times differ depending on the region and the metering set up at the property.
If you contact us, we'll be happy to let you know the relevant switching times. If you like, drop an email to the address in my Profile and I'll find out for you.
Just a quick heads up, Track and Save tariffs aren't exclusively for Economy 7 meters. They're also available on single rate meters. Does your meter have one or two registers?

If your supply is switched by a mechanical clock, it is worth noting that these can be highly inaccurate.
Mine is about 30 minutes slow, so instead of 1:30 am to 8:30am(in summer) it is 2:00am to 9:00am. Others have reported their clock several hours slow/fast.0
