Watching you tube video on big tv screen

I have connected my computer with HDMI to my big screen and it is working fine. Sometimes I like to use the computer and then watch tv at the same time. The problem is I swtch my tv, the computer screen comes on the big tv, the only way I can still watch tv and use the computer is to disconnect the HDMI. Is there any other way I could do this. Computer is now connected to monitor with vga. TV is connected usng HDMI cable. Thanks

You need to check the display settings of your graphic card to see if it lets you have 2 screens running at once0 -
Sounds like you just need to use the source / input button(s) on the remote?0
