Advice please - can i / should i cancel a transaction

Can anyone advise please.

Sold an item on 16th, to a buyer with excellent scores. I have automatic non pay case set up, so after 4 days an e mail was sent to remind for payment. I got two e mails, one quite cross and annoyed, and two ( half an hour later) a bit more concilitary, saying sorry, PC probems etc and could she pay Tuesday. The case was due to close automtically on Monday, so yesterday I spent 40 minutes on line with e bay, seeing if I could hold it up, so she wouldnt get a strike. They said it was set so that I have to close it. I mailed and told her and she wrote back that she couldnt pay til Friday and I should cancel the transaction and it was all her fault, not mine!
Should I just close it tomorrow with a strike - or try and close it cancelling the transaction - I am not sure if I can do that, and I am not inclined to spend any more time on line with an agent.
Any thoughts?

Many thanks

Personally I would just close the case and block her. She's messed you about enough.
  • Personally I would just close the case and let them get the strike, the strike system is there for this type of time waster and must be used, otherwise they can continue to mess others around........

  • You cant open another case (send a cancellation request), one case per item.

If you don't follow this NPB case through and they don't pay, then there is no way for you to get your fees back.

Just for info, To turn it off for a specific transaction:
