Updated my iPad ...oh dear!u

Can any of you kind techie peeps help me. I updated my iPad to iOS6 since then my main email account will not work. My iPad tells me something along the lines of verification in settings which I have done to no avail. My hotmail account works just fine, but if I want to access my virgin media emails I have to go thro virgin on the website. I don't know what else to do. So far I am not happy with the upgrade....

What the provider of the main email account, is it virgin as I understand correctly?

I would delete the settings for virgin email account in your settings and then try again. Its possible you used the wrong connection settings. You should be able to find the settings on virgins website.

Doesn't virgin email use the same password as your virgin account for things like broadband? If so, if you changed it it might change the email one as well. This applies if you changed passwords recently.

No need to restore, virgin knows the iPad can be tricky to set up so contact them.

Thank you everyone I will indeed try all your suggestions. I haven't changed any passwords or changed any settings whatsoever , so it has to be a problem with the update.

iTunes help, backup/restore and if I remember correctly if you can also press shift whilst doing restore then it allows you to select an image from another image ie your downloads , I think mista_c posted as such in another thread

Also updated. Now photos in photos are all fuzzy, but when they are in say Facebook are fine. I press edit and photos unfuzz then press save and then...nothing. Also iPad has retrieved over 700 photos I thought I had deleted. Snapseed just won't work anymore.

On my iPad 2, my photos are unchanged, and Snapseed works just as it did before, so maybe some settings on your iPad can be changed to fix it?
Does Snapseed have permission to access your photos (in privacy settings)?
