Second Hand Mountain Bike
Options
Can anyone recommed a good place to buy a decent quality, second hand mountain bike?
Needs to be fairly local to the Hampshire/Surrey border.
I have a budget of about £150 and though that buying a second hand bike should mean I can get a quality make.
I have taken a look on eBay, but would rather visit a shop and view a bike.

Are you sure you need a mountain bike? Maybe a hybrid would do?0

You might want to try bicycle recycling, I've never shopped there but the guy who runs it seems like a decent bloke http://www.bicyclerecycling.co.uk/0

True & Yes, unfortunately it's not for me, it's for my Son and it's a hard tail mountain bike he's after. He's just given me a few other details he would like:
1. Mustn't have twist grip gear changes
2. Must have disc brakes
3. Must look cool :rotfl:
Oh to be young again and to be able to request these things without having to worry about paying for them0 -

You will be lucky to find a decent brand bike for £150 second hand. the top makes hold their value
Ebay is a starting point, check out the makes you are interested in and see what they go for0
