This is the second year we have been asked to pay our Timeshare (yea yea i know now TIMESHARE IS CRAP) but have had it some years now long before i became MS savvy, any way back to my rant asked to pay the management fees in Euros and at the robbing gits rates of 1.31.
If we use paypall to pay in pounds they want to charge an extra 2%on top, they say in the invoice sent out you could go to NATWEST but they told us last year sorry we cannot process the invoice! why? because it is an off shore account!!!! We seem to have no option other than to send them the money using the above convertion rates,via cheque to Brentwood Essex which is where we have paid for the past 9 years, but in the past have allways paid in POUNDS STERLING ( not allowed now) i have been in touch with other timeshare owners today to see if they know a way around this but no luck they are all as miffed as i am but have no answers. This is such a rip off as the rate has not been anywhere near that and they know it. If you think of all the owners who are being asked to pay in this way in the uk it is a tidy bit of money for nothing. If there is anyone out there who knows a way to get around this problem myself and fellow owners would be so gratefull. cheers woodkitten
