The prize is a two-night stay for two people at the Best Western Plus Dean Court Hotel in York. It includes evening meals and, as you’d expect, a better breakfast. This four star hotel has achieved the Breakfast Award from Enjoy England for its high quality and large selection of breakfast dishes. The hotel also has an AA rosette for fine dining. It's right in the heart of the old city walls and in the shadow of York Minster.

This break is valid from 1st November 2012 to 28th February 2013, subject to availability and excluding Bank and Public Holidays.

Easy: simply tell us in the comments box what your favourite breakfast is, and we’ll pick the winner at random.

Closing date is Friday 19th October, Usual T&Cs apply, the editor's decision is final.

Finally PLEASE check your contact details
We’ve had situations in the past where people have old or unused email addresses saved with lovefood. This means that though they’ve been picked as the winner of one of our competitions, we’ve had to give the prize to someone else as they've not got back to us. So please take a second to log in (you need to do this to enter the competition anyway) click My settings at the top, and check that My email address is the one you use regularly.
