Fluid credit card rejection

Hi guys,
I applied for a fluid card on friday, it got referred and I was subsequently rejected this morning via email, standard credit scoring letter.
I took out a loan 6 months ago for a car and owe 2500 on it, the apr is like 14% on the loan as it was my first loan could only get one with my bank from soft searches I completed.
I earn 21k a year and have only this loan I use around £500 on a barclaycard but paid off in full each month.
The idea of fluid was bank transfer and pay loan with his at 0% apr. I think I've probably been declined because of having loan.
Should I appeal it and explain that this would clear the loan?? Thanks peeps

He loan was 4k over payed about £550 so far. Only had credit for 4 years since I was 18. Credit report is clean apart from an AP FOR 3 months as lost job temporarily, and agreed to repay £600 bak over 3 months for overdraft.0 -
The AP and the overdraft will be having a mich bigger impact than the loan. You may neeed to wait a little longer.
Or get a much less fussy card, though with no offers, but it will allow you to start building a more positive history.0 -

Hi,
Yeah the onyl reason i applied was because the soft search said i had a high chance of being accepted. I've had a barclaycard for about 2 years now, but probably right. Think i'm going to put the appeal in...worst they can say is no! see what they say and let you know back
I would try another less non fussy card but i cant find another with a bank credit transfer which would save me about £900 interest payments!!
Thanks0 -

Agreed, you won't find another card with a transfer offer that will accept you. But using a card (any card) regularly will repair your file more quickly.0 -
Err... on another note, has anyone ever appealed a rejection?? I have been looking all over the fluid website... cannot find a rejection address to send a letter too.0

hey guys, well sent my appeal off on tuesday... hope to hear back soon
Has anybody done an appeal before, if so how long does it generally take to hear back?
Thanks,
