What time is close of business (Nationwide)

I've got a direct debit due out of my account tomorrow, and am aware that cleared funds need to be in my account by close of business today.
I am a couple of pounds short, so have withdrawn some Paypal money, but it won't hit my account until around 7/8pm this evening.
Will this be ok I wonder?

I know from my banking experience that debits are normally applied before credits. So based on that the dd may get bounced. May be an idea to phone them.0

If these T&Cs are pre-reqs for payments being made, your T&Cs should define- what is considered as 'cleared funds'
- what 'close of business' is
