    Morning all :D

Thanks for all the thoughts about DD. She seemed much better yesterday and no known zoning which is good :D I walked her the bus stop again this morning but I had to go out for milk & to pick up an Avon book anyway. ;) We're keeping a diary, and I'm going to type it up before handing it over to the doctor to read. Just waiting on the hospital appointment to come through which they said could take a few weeks.

Yesterday went a bit wrong for me instead. I was cleaning out the undersink cupboard and just before DD got in from school I was chucking bottles in the bin and must have accidentally rubbed my eye with something on my hands :o It felt a little funny but I thought nothing off it, then DD came home and she said it was really red. Thinking she meant irritated or bloodshot I looked in the mirror and noticed I had a subconjuntival haemorrhage:eek: At this point my eye started burning so I washed it out but the burning got worse so I went to the walk-in to get it washed properly. This morning it feels much better, except for the I've-been-punched-in-the-face feeling, but I'm not surprised its like that considering I had to have my eye forced open while they ran a litre of saline over it to wash it out _pale_ They gave me cream to put in it but I've had a reaction to it so I won't be using that one again

Oh well, onwards and cleanwards. I need to get laundry done, as we've run out of thermal socks (6 pairs between 2 of us don't last long - I need to pick up more!) and I've run out of clean jeans. I've been through 5 pairs of jeans in 2 days due to getting soaked, just drying them off they stink so need washing :( If the undersink cupboard has dried out I'll put the stuff back under there, VERY carefully, and I have an important phonecall or two to make ;)

    :wave:Morning all.

Happy Birthday Valli :bdaycake: and Happy Anniversary Dustykitten

Sorry to hear about your eye problem, nicki - hope it settles down soon.

No flying for me today - I'm grounded until I get our website up and running. There has been a problem which no-one seemed able to cure, but we desperately need the website to be working for the conference this weekend.

I got up at 5.30 and decided to tackle it head-on. I don't know what I have done in the intervening hours to make a difference, but I changed a bit here and tidied up a bit there and now suddenly the view in Google Chrome is what I wanted all along and I've even managed to get the right background images for the header and navigation bars and insert another image on the front page without ruining the text. HOORAY! - and about time too!!!
    :j

Now I've only got to sort out another 20-or-so linked pages... :rotfl:
    Wish me luck!

I promise that flying will resume properly next week - in the meantime I've got a Georgian mansion to build tomorrow and packing to be done on Friday morning. I designed the flat-pack version of the mansion yesterday but now need to work out what's the easiest way to put it all together and still be able to dismantle it again and re-use it. All good fun, just very time-consuming :D

Can you believe I went to Mr T and left my purse at home :o luckily I noticed as I was getting my list out, so hadn't actually put anything in the trolley yet.

Had a bit of a browse, but there was nothing that caught my eye that I couldn't get at my closer Mr S, plus they have a 25% off clothing sale so got thermal tshirts for the price of normal ones.

So, that was my early lunch break, better get cracking with paid stuff!

Nicki Hope your eye gets better soon ouch . I rubbed my eye on monday after cutting up a chorizo sausage and that burned, so can imagine how sore yours must be.

Not getting much flying done today yet. Been to paid work this morning, then had to pop to post office and newsagents, to get this months Halloween cake mag for my sil and me :). Then bumped into some friends who I haven't seen in ages, so stood gossiping for far too long. Then I came home grabbed the woofers and took them for a walk in between dodging massive downpours. Just checking in here. Then should just about have enough time to clean round the kitchen and change sofa throws before I go back to work. Think I'l make a :coffee: and get started.

++++ VIBES ++++ as required all round.....

Well I actually HAD to buy myself a new pair of boots today. I discovered the other day, that the sole of my boot had a split across it! God knows how long Id been walking around like that for! :rotfl: Thankfully no water had been getting in, but I only noticed the slit because it caught on the pedals when I was Driving! But because it had caught on the pedal it kinda ripped it open! Lol, classy chick that I am.... :D Anyway, decided with all the rain etc, a new pair of shoes would be justified expenditure. I managed to find a cheap pair for £20 and hopefully they will last through winter! But obviously I now have £20 less to do me till November...

    So FLying... Well, I have
    emptied the bins
Taken the bags outside to the main bin (I have four flights of stairs so this is a job in itself :D)
    Put dry dishes away
    WAshed more dishes
Done a small amount of ironing (Only uniforms)
Picked up dirty laundry from LO room
    Filled WM
    Paid childcare fees online _pale_

Need to have some lunch so off to reheat some soup from the fridge and look out tea... think it will be chilli tonight to use up some of the veg... Maybe the soup will eek out to do tonight though and we can have chilli tomorrow

    Later xx
