It's not. People believe in spirits/paranormal etc because they generally have experienced something and want to try and prove it is real.

Religion is entirely based on the fact that the idea cannot be proved, it is a test of your faith with your chosen deity, and the only way you will find out if you where right is when you pass on.

Whether you choose to believe either is your own perogative, but you know what, with religion, believers tend to have a more purposed and fulfilled life (from their own experience, and obviously ever single person, believer or not, is different) and have some comfort that they will go to a better place when the time comes, so really who has the last laugh?

People generally believe in those things because of something that has happened prior to the 'incident' reminds me of the peter kay sketch at the funeral when a crisp packet blows past..

I dont need the threat of burning in hell for all eternity to make me do good things, I do it because im a decent human being.

I reached this point early on as I realised that I already had a lot of stuff from SSM MOCs. I just let friends and family know what was glitching then took them through the MSM site put items into a list then checked to see if they'd been confirmed and printed their list for them to use when shopping. My Fav part was entering their receipts in and seeing their faces when their APG total was revealed. Made me feel useful and saved them a small fortune.

My student cousin has enough baby meals and desserts to feed her son until Xmas, it has saved her so much as she's paid out only the amount that she would have had to in 2 weeks.
Between us we got enough free nappies that since he was born she has only yesterday had to actually buy them and he's now 7 months old.
We've all started doing this again for another girl we know who's mum kicked her out when she found out she was pregnant and so far have enough for baby's first month. Hopefully we will get more as many of our friends and family have yet to get hold of the printer to get their vouchers.

I feel it's nice to give back as many of these people where there for me when I was at my lowest and helped with DH's funeral prepairations. :A

Same here SpirallingDown , we have a box of WUL in the shed of clutter from SSM days plus numerous ' all purpose cleaners ' from around the same era and lets not mention [STRIKE]the Pantenne products in the bathroomcupboard[/STRIKE] .
We have products to suit our needs and we've also supplied family with the odd product here and there .
The neighbours are all informed of what's happening and then they join in the melee of fun at the checkouts so all in all there are quite a few houses in close proximity that benefit .
The Salvation Army has kindly accepted quite a few of the toys etc that we've accumalated over the weeks/months and it gives us pleasure that they are joyous about it .
I believe they distrubute them in December to kiddies in less fortunate situations .

So we haven't needed the Asda glitch .
I was young once , now I get older all the time .

Can anyone tell me which icecreams are the nicest to buy - Im more of a plain icecream person - but I do like toffee/carmel - is the praline one sorta like this? Also is the strawberry cheesecake as nice as it sounds and my DH like strawberry icecream? Think I'll do this tonight and add some bavaria ( thanks fourp) !

The HD vanilla is very nice, i should have it more but always get lured in by the more fancy flavours.

    Morning All

Not a great start to the week horrid rain.

DS's teacher came out this morning and asked if I would go in early to talk about his behaviour. Great I have another fun year to look forward to:(

Who would be best to get advice from would it be my local GP who would then refer us?
We had early years involved when he started school last year but then they left and advised the school needed to take over?x
    Now on the 5:2 diet.

    Lost 25 1/2 lbs :j:j:j 33 1/2 lbs to go
