  • Well, I got trouted today after 4 weeks of having no problems at all, and all over a £10 APG. It wasn't a massive trouting compared to some on here, but it was annoying.

Unfortunately there were no male SA's on the tills so I chose a youngish woman who turned out to be the most super-officious jobsworth I've ever met. She was about to put it through but when she checked the accompanying receipt she noticed that I had only spent £16 and managed to produce a £10 APG so she called over the supervisor and it was the usual "She only spent £16 and she's got this voucher for £10 - that can't be right" over and over again, but she completely confused the SV with the old receipt and the new receipt so the poor woman just couldn't understand the gist of what she was saying.
So the SV, who was very nice, took me to the CS desk, more to get away from the SA who was getting quite irate and indignant about the whole thing and once we got there the SV put it through without any problem!

So now I have my first ever receipt with "Retrieved transaction" on it - will this still go through the APG check ok?

I will have to try to remember not to go to that SA again!
