Big hugs, most religions guide the followers to help and support others, that is what this thread is about. Not everyone sees eye to eye but, in the words of my nan, if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all. She was so right. I love you all, this thread has given me a second family and connected me with other poeple who understand. The more we pull together and help each other the better the rewards xxAvatar courtesey of HC :beer:0 -

FK don't beat yourself up, homeless people will have good and bad days like the rest of us, it could be that tonight she was feeling desperate but this morning she's woken up (hopefully somewhere warm) and the desperation might not be there, all you can do now is look out for her again, but as someone else said, if she asked for money and not food there may be a motive.
As for the 'tell the really needy from the not' conundrum, my mum always told me to look at their shoes as she'd caught out a couple in her time by noticing brand spanking new footwear! I guess people don't think you'll notice.......No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023
