Cheers, thank you.
Best result ever. But then we do put in a bit of effort as you can see.
Actually I'm feelin a bit guilty tonight. Just recently I seem to have become a bit community spirited. Taken plenty of stuff to the foodbank and have been donating stuff to charity shops. Despite me usually not giving to people who sit begging,I've both given cash and bough bags of chips to people begging........
...but tonight a lady i'd not seen before was outside the kebab shop and wanted money. I shook my head and walked inside. Now I've since learned of my good fortune today and can see the genuine pained look on her face in my mind (most beggars really dont look desperate but she did).
That's not sitting well with me tonight to be honest. She was not there when we left the kebab shop and I'm lying in my warm bed, with a full stomach, a galss of wine by my side and I'm hoping she's ok.
Feeling a bit sh*tty to be honest.0 -

Big hugs FK, I know you have a huge heart.
As a rule, I don't give money but I will happily give food, clothes or anything else. I used to work in Cental London, just off Soho Square. Every day I passed a man begging for help. I gave him my sandwiches one day and he threw them back at me in disgust. He didn't want food, he wanted money? I really do have to queston the motives of some people. I hasten to add that not everyone is like this but it did not sit well with me for a long time.
FK, ask yourself why were they asking for money, not food?Avatar courtesey of HC :beer:0
