its an unlikely situation anyhow in the sense that most people dont carry spoons around with them, but most people would rather err on the side of caution...same goes for calling an ambulance - a stranger in the street seeing you have a fit is not going to know if you have them regular or not.

Always better to err on the side of caution.

ok, I'll admit defeat as dont have the energy to do otherwise.

I had my first grand mal epileptic fit aged 8. The advice given over the years was what I posted.

I would confidently deal with another person having an epileptic fit, dealing with it the same way I have always been educated, however I would much prefer people follow the above websites advice.

The Leeds store is good on a Monday. They update the clearance aisle and most things go on 75% off. Have you seen the upstairs bit? All the kiddies toys and dummies and things were all on clearance. This was about a fortnight ago.

I think i'm getting the hang of it now:D I wrote a long list, but forgot to put it in my bag! I managed to do two shops without my lists. Vouchers are through. Phew! This is very addictive

no,the tongue deflects back, causing a gagging choking sensation, blocking your airways, causing lack of oxygen to the brain. So no you dont swallow your tongue, its a term of phrase...but it can lead to brain damage and even death
