Of course you all know it's not possible to swallow your tongue:).

'swallowing your tongue' means that when your unconcious it 'goes' down your throat and blocks your airways :p

If you see my next post I gave a link to epilepsy website and first aid.

I thought all subjects were discussed on here ?

Please ignore any unofficial advice. Sorry opened cake hole will go remove my agreement of unofficial advice.

Any people finding ill people in street should just ignore them in that case.

I only meant it for the best as some might only read part of the 'advice' and not do the right thing iykwim :o sorry if I offended you :o

Thank you to all the charming young ladies re: the dry hand cream. I already have the Nivea Q10 one so will give it a whirl tonight. If I don't succeed, I shall try the others that you smashing ladies have recommended. Thanks for the pm's also.

Has anyone else piled on the pounds since this Sada thing happened? I'm almost half a stone more now. Eeeeek. I'm so tempted to eat lots of Walkers crisps now but I know I shouldn't. What to do?

Best to call for help then make the situation worse:o Also with the blame culture of nowadays even doing something "right" could land you in trouble.

sorry but as an epileptic I would much rather crush my teeth to pieces and live, than swallow my tongue and potentially die or become brain damaged through lack of oxygen to my brain :(

its an unlikely situation anyhow in the sense that most people dont carry spoons around with them, but most people would rather err on the side of caution...same goes for calling an ambulance - a stranger in the street seeing you have a fit is not going to know if you have them regular or not.

Always better to err on the side of caution.

    Unless glitching or wombling :D

but like has been said by a few people...

you will not swallow your tongue, the muscle at the back of your tongue makes it impossible to swallow
Contrary to popular belief, it is not possible to swallow your tongue. Unless of course if you cut it off and then swallowed it… In any event, the tongue is rooted to the floor of the mouth by the lingual frenulum. The lingual frenulum is the small mucous membrane that extends from the floor of the mouth to the mid-line of the tongue. This makes getting the tongue far enough back in the throat to actually swallow it impossible.

You can't make someone love you. All you can do is
stalk them & hope they panic & give in

God created men first, cause you always makes a rough draft before a masterpiece!
