I feel so stupid now. I did not want to ask what a finger of fudge was weeks ago. This has now cleared it up for me. :o

Says i dont have 8 items?
PS this is a few weeks ago as you can see i used a £28 coupon

I always make sure i have 10 items
    you could add salt 29p
    scourers14p
or anything cheap with a reasonable shelf life

Anyone noticed anything different with pears this morning?

The soap and hand gel were next to each other on the shelf, the soap was same price as yesterday but the gel had a 60 p SEL - wish now I'd taken a picture as I'm not convinced.

Now if I'd actually done the shop i intended to do - equal numbers of pears, kitkat chunks and some fillers, just to use some small value APG and they had gone through at £2 at the till rather than 60 p then at least you could have got a gift card ...

This is "ancient high house" town if anyone wants to check and I know someone from mse visits there because the girl said she had had a full value APG at a till during the week :D

What's the rule with the gift card? Today I bought some cif which went through at £2.98 instead if £2. SA overrided the price at the self serve checkout, I asked about situation when they price incorrectly but he said they only correct the price, don't give anything else.

A lot of people on here have received £2 gift cards but i think you have to prompt them for it.
You can't make someone love you. All you can do is
stalk them & hope they panic & give in

    Well said Redfox :T:T

Surprised to see asofoetida at that price, I think I paid about £2 for some a couple of years ago! Can't for the life of me remember what it was for, think it was something Indian, still have about half a pack in the cupboard :rotfl::rotfl:

Had a very productive day, totally on my own! Christmas cake is out and cooling, Christmas pud is out and cooling, new router is set up and working, two loads of washing done and folded. Even found time to nip down to T's for my fave peanut butter (the value one of course!!), job done :T:T

That sounds like my type of day:)

Please can I ask where do you find the new pots- are they frozen.

Also the barcode on your s and g - another thing I've yet to find.

    Thanks in advance.

I wish I'd got more of the mincemeat at the start of September - it was off the list by the time we got back from being away. Can anyone remember did I just suddenly stop working one day - went na or price jump?

Just catching up so i don't know if you've had an answer yet (probably have, but better twice than none).
Anyway, the potatoes are in the fruit and vegetable bit, in a chiller, next to prepared veg.

The S&G that works is Body Responsive one, it has a bright pink lid and says passion flower and black orchid around the neck. B/C ends 0945. There is another variety which used to (might still?) work, but none of my stores sell it so can't help with that sorry.

    It's only a game
