Anyone noticed anything different with pears this morning?

The soap and hand gel were next to each other on the shelf, the soap was same price as yesterday but the gel had a 60 p SEL - wish now I'd taken a picture as I'm not convinced.

Now if I'd actually done the shop i intended to do - equal numbers of pears, kitkat chunks and some fillers, just to use some small value APG and they had gone through at £2 at the till rather than 60 p then at least you could have got a gift card ...

This is "ancient high house" town if anyone wants to check and I know someone from mse visits there because the girl said she had had a full value APG at a till during the week :D

Buy any Duracell batteries from Asda.
But a Mars bar as the trigger. Buy 2 if you buy even number of batteries.
    Get 8 other items

    Or:

    Search this forum button.

    Enter the word Batteries

    Read.

    Easy.

I did search hence the quote and question in my post, sorry if that escaped your notice, I obviously didn't realise you were forced to read my posts and answer whether you wished to or not. Feel free not to if it irks you.:p

Search for Pears (Sains shop) and batteries back on with Asda - but watch which pack you get. Use search facility as someone posted a useful pic - so beware the pink bunny on packs search for proctor and gamble within medal logo both in upper left corner of pac. I have to admit I only got to 8pm last night so apologosies for anything posted since then so check those posts.
NB if you have been ill Nivea at Sainsbury's finished Monday so don't try those but new Sainsburys offers on which kind posters are working out.

Thanks to all the squad living near enough to do checks - and everyone :T
    HTH

So it looks like avoid the pink bunny and go for the p&g logo.:)

This may have been mentioned, but when I used a £13+ voucher at a normal till earlier it required a supervisor override/authorise - the checkout operator said that for vouchers over (£12 and pence - possibly 49, missed the number!) then it requires the supervisor. There was no issue getting it authorised, so no trouting, but I admit it put me off using my other two £13+ vouchers in that store as the same supervisor would be required (so will have to go to another one - no worries, we are well served round here :).

It may be worth aiming for an APG below £12 if you are doing multiple shops to save the delay/discussion?

    HTH

I suspect that, as usual, different stores are making up their own rules as they go along ! I used 2 (£15 and £14.xx) this morning on 2 consecutive shops on the belt and no comment about the voucher value was made and no authorisation was needed. The SA just mentioned that she thought the Asda APG scheme was MUCH better than Tesco PP - I just had to agree with her ! She marked the receipts and gave them back to me
    - totally different to yesterday when the vouchers were accepted quite happily but the SA insisted that she had been instructed to keep all receipts ofer a few £'s in value. Never mind singing from the same hymn sheet - they can't even agree on which library to use.

Sorry FLoFlo, I did not see your post, hence the other persons quote in my answer.

I, however, did also use the search button and managed to find a quoted comparison at 4.05pm yesterday, about 12 down the list, so it is not hard.

I did also see your post in that list too!

Doesn't irk me in the slightest, as I have a Sense Of Humour!!!:rotfl:
