Good morning all. Busy morning here, two loads of washing on the line, cleaning wash on for the machine, Christmas cake in the oven, Christmas pud in the pressure cooker. Now I can't leave the house for at least three hours, but at least it will smell goodWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

I have a quick question about the baby food......please don't hurt me lol.
Does baby food have longish dates on it? For example if I was to get Rusks, porridge etc would they still be ok in 6 months to start using and still have enough life left in them.
Hope that doesn't sound too stupid, I'm just assuming baby food has less preservatives or something in them.
Thanks in advance x
I picked some up yesterday and they are BB June 2013

I also noticed a lady shopping in store who I saw in the shampoo section, then the toothpaste section. She had a full large trolley of items I recognise from here, but wiht a large shop of normal items. I hope for her sake that she put them through separately, as otherwise she will either be capped at £15 and defeat the object of targeted buying, or end up with lots cancelled out with the normal shop.
Out of interest, she included oral B brushheads in her shop - these wouldn't glitch would they...?
Many thanks

Any full price items shoudl work. If you add the 3 shower gels, then go to the checkout and add the code (which I will NOT post here;)), then all the items that are working will show at £0.00 when you browse.
It will only work on full price, so the nice (reduced) gift packs don't work (but the full price ones do, try £15 gift + under)!0 -
This may have been mentioned, but I used a £13+ voucher at a normal till earlier it required a supervisor override/authorise - the checkout operator said that for vouchers over (£12 and pence - possibly 49, missed the number!) then it requires the supervisor. There was no issue getting it authorised, so no trouting, but I admit it put me off using my other two £13+ vouchers in that store as the same supervisor would be required (so will have to go to another one - no worries, we are well served round here
.
It may be worth aiming for an APG below £12 if you are doing multiple shops to save the delay/discussion?

At H*stings I was told anything over £10 required a SV. I actually wonder if some of these stores make it up as they go along lol. Please God, help me stop spending!0 -

Not really that bothered as still too upset over the wine glitch ending, I feel a dark cloud surrounding my cellar, and theres nothing that really appeals from Adsa ATM as have enough brekki stuff and cleaning products for a couple of months, where as you can never have enough vino!!
cleaning "stuff" wont go off as far as I am aware.0 -

They may set it locally based on how many they are getting/the values? The till did actually stop and request supervisor authorisation (rather than, in this case, making it up).

Completely Off Topic Advice Please
Need to buy birthday present/toy for 1 year old who lives in Birmingham I live in London, need to order from somewhere that I can order the toy & pay , mother can collect at local store, we cant have it delivered never sure when she will be in. Cant send money or voucher as it may not be spent on correct item.
Suggestions please, I know Tesco Direct will do this most other stores have a reserve & collect but you cannot pay in advance.0
