awwww biggest hugs nannylala.......its not easy is it? so much joy and sadness and pride all at the same time!!!!

I have had a few wobbles this week after my DS went off to uni last friday- OK I admit - I have been an emotional wreck lolol He is being a sweetheart though and phoning me to reassure me he is ok- he even went wombling yesterday in A ! He even sent me photos of his supplies that I gave him all stacked nicely !

Yet another part of the journey is underway for many of us now!

    Group hug :D:D:D:D

Good Morning everyone from a very tearful Nannylala I thought I would have a catch up to try and stop me thinking about my DD Lala taking my DG Son off to start his new life at Cambridge. It does not seem to be working as I am typing this through a mist of tears.I love that young man so so much and am very proud of him achieving his goal in life but so wish that my DH was still here with me to share this.It is so nice to be able to share how I feel with so many lovely people on the thread and for this alone I am truly grateful:AI am now off to spend the day gardening as this is where I feel happiest at times like this:)and wait for Lala to return with an update of how it all went today........

2 wonderful posts that convey love and the heartbreak of missing a loved one .
I for one never went to Uni but from what I can gather from friends and statements from those that haf the ability to attend these institutions it was the making of them , it forhed their minds into a type set to make a sucess of their lives , it reassured them that the love , guidance , early education and morals that had been bestowed upon them in their formative years was correct and this was the time to utilise it to take forward with them into tje next stages of their young lives .
I'm sure that all of the young ladies and gents heading off down theis new path of life will do themselves and their mentors proud .

Good luck to each and everyone of them .
I was young once , now I get older all the time .

Errant son finally rolled home last night at 9.30, only phone call we got was at 7 to say he was heading to (or from Chester) about 30 miles away - he has only passed his test a few weeks and so far has only gone to and from around a 7 mile radius. This morning we realise he has been out to collect a kayak he bought for over £400 - so most of his student loan gone in the 1st week. She he was driving yesterday on unknown roads in heavy traffic with a kayak on his roof rack, having never driven with anything on the roof rack before.

So now he has 2 boats, neither of which we can store properly adn the season ends in a few weeks

But at 20 you know everything.

Oh im so pleased for you MHoc. you must be so relieved, if not a little annoyed at him lol but at least he is safe and well :D

Was lovely to see how many people on here were genuinly concerned and sending you well wishes :T:T:T

I'm sorry to say but this post is so over the top.

He didn't say anything that is as bad as you are making out.
Now you have everyone being all like "ahh i love you i love you" and you've made him look like a pr***.

Isn't that exactly how you're saying you don't like being made to feel?

I've never seen Loccar being particularly nasty to anyone on here and i think this post is actually a lot worse than anything i've seen him say to you.

Sorry but everyone has jumped up to tell you how amazing you are and now he looks like he's been treating you like **** when he hasn't.

People: some of you seem to want to live in a world filled with gummy bears and raindrops of happiness where everyone just skips around together holding hands singing magical songs.
You really need to remember that nobody can upset you unless you look at them, and why should you care too much about what anybody on here or anywhere online thinks about you if they don't even know you.

    Morning again all!

I've just been looking at Cosmo online having searched to see what people generally spend on make-up, and I don't feel too bad now! I really need to chuck a lot of stuff out that's gone off or is the wrong shade but I couldn't bear to....

Now I see most people seem to spend £50 - £100 a month on make-up alone, I don't feel wrong throwing a few old things out! I looked on my spreadsheet (yeah I'm sad!) and my make-up in total cost me £240ish (most of it's duplicates of stuff I will always use) but I also have about 2-3 years worth of toiletries now that cost around the same amount in total! Gotta love glitching! :D

Off to clear out my make-up case, have a good day all xx

Wow!!!! £50-£100 A MONTH???? Thats shocking lol, think i probably only spend about £100 a year :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:even less now I have found you lovely peeps :A:A

you also can't expect one person to be able to make somebody else look 100 times worse than anything they said actually is and have everyone suck up to that person whilst the other person is made to look like a bully.

I don't think Locarr deserved that.
You can't make someone love you. All you can do is
stalk them & hope they panic & give in
