The helpful one is lower case but I gather from the other post that she's also a dog lover so I'm likely to also be posting about doggies. When I get around to the avatar I might just use one of my dogs instead so that could tell us apart easier. Many a mickle makes a muckle.0 -

I had fogotten how lively pups are, so here is my puppy survival kit recommendations:
1. A Puppy Nylabone. Present it to pup when he is on the prowl looking for something to chew. Great for when they are teething.
2. Grannicks bitter apple spray. This is a "stop chew" spray that you can spray on your furniture, skirting boards, chair legs, doors even your plants! It's natural but very bitter so pup will take one chew and then quickly learn that aint tasty! (Don't bother with other stop chew sprays by Pedigree Petfoods & others, they don't work as good! I used to work in kennels and Grannick's is by far the best stuff).
3. The Perfect Puppy by Gwen Bailey. A brilliant book that really helps you guide your pup. It's so worth putting the work in when they are little and you will be rewarded with a happy & well socialised adult dog.
Ok puppy lecture over lol. Now can we have some piccys please!
We are thinking of getting a puppy so I've copied and saved your post for future reference, hope you don't mindThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Had a lovely surprise parcel, waiting at neighbours, when I got home - won an Alpro goody cool bag full of 8 different products, a cookbook and vouchers :jThanks to whoever posted about it (can't even remember entering!).
Messed up a shop tonight as had 'some help choosing Alpen bars' and 3 out of then did not compare. Oh well - won't make that mistake again!0 -
