Thanks for your help but get the feeling it was more critising rather than helping
Not on this occasion
I had just woken up on the sofa and posted a couple replies before going to bed. Was still a bit groggy but remembered seeing several confirmationsApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Good morning all, fairly bright here. Have actually caught up, slightly upset at some of the goings on during the nightshift, methinks maybe some people should not drink and write!bargainsniffer1 wrote: »Excuse me but I have no avatar.
I do not wish to pretend to be not what i am:D
But good luck to you as you seem to like the art of not being yourself:rotfl:
Good night faker:p
Definition of: avatar
A graphic identity that users select to represent themselves in a chat, instant messaging (IM) or multiplayer gaming session. An avatar is generally a caricature, rather than a realistic photo, and can be anything from a simple cartoon to a bizarre fantasy figure. However, images of real objects are also used. The term is a Sanskrit word that means the incarnation of a god on earth, and this usage of the term came from the gaming and 3D chat worlds.
Personally I use the avatars as a quick mode of identification, never once occurred to me to think of the photos as real, and I certainly am not the Starship Voyager!
We are not pretending to be what we are not, just representing that which we are.Morning everyone
Had a good sleep last night and so starting to feel a bit better today
It is my birthday today but have to work as was not able to get the day off

Just because you are in work does not mean that you have to work as normal? I used to work to rule on my birthday, they soon worked out it was better to let me have the day off!
That said, have a very happy birthday and take comfort in the fact that it will be on a Saturday next year:T
Hugs to Magicowen, Tigerwhite and anyone else, I store all the names of people in need in my heart when I read through and keep them there throughout the day, thinking of you all. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

:bdaycake: Have the best day you can in work MichjayMorning all.
The Cove will be RED.
A pod of pilot whales has been caught. There are no slaughters on a Saturday so these poor souls will be kept without food for 2 or 3 days before their demise.:(:(:(:(
Morning, I just woke up on the sofa with the laptop still on my knee:o:o
Ooh bet you've got a stiff neck this morning.
Right caught up to early hours, not much going on in nightshift apart from petty squabbles re avatars. I cant even get one, wont upload so Im a blank person
Best go put some washing in , hoover and do that spray the furn polish trick at 5pm when oh homeThe art of being happy is to be satisfied with what you have0 -
That's rubbish, they can't keep your receipt, what if you paid on credit card you would need the receipt for your files.
In my case last night it really didn't matter - I had got 2 separate shops through successfully, there was a long queue behind me cos the SA was a bit slow and I just wanted to get out and home without drawing too much attention to my shopping exploits! (The less attention I get the better as I am perhaps just slightly (:D) over my limits in this store). Had I been in the mood I would have made a stand.
I would also have raised merry hell if this had been the F/M store that gave me a hard time last week ! Next time I go in there (and I am so cross with them that I will happily do a 50 mile round trip) they will be sorry if they try to trout me again.ELITE 5:2

If anyone is doing a Tosco based shop at Sada, the large tins of Quality Street, Roses and Heroes are only £4 in Tosco's, so £3.60 in Sada after APG.
