Today, I was thinking about an age old question: Is giving birth more painful than getting kicked in the nuts? Women always maintain that giving birth is way more painful than a guy getting kicked in the nuts.
Well, some heavy deductive thinking, I have come up with the answer to that question.
Getting kicked in the nuts is more painful than having a baby; and here is the reason for my conclusion.
A year or so after giving birth, a woman will often say, "It might be nice to have another child. On the other hand, you never hear a man say, "You know, I think I would like another kick in the nuts." I rest my case0 -
Can I ask what could be a silly question...trying to clear it up once and for all...
Will the rice pudd be the trigger for any 3 for 2 from W's going off MS?0 -
I think it's just a light-hearted way to say that not everything that people post (newbies, lurkers or regulars) is always accurate. Nobody says it negatively, well I don't see it that way. COT's smileys are funny. I hope nobody takes being labelled a misinformer seriously anyway.
Exactly, it's just a bit of light hearted humour.

Been struggling a bit with both children, I am probably still hormonal and emotional from giving birth but am not feeling supported by the people who should be there for me (sis texted to say I prob won't see her for a while, maybe not this side of Xmas (!) despite her living less than 90 mins away, Mum lives 3 hours away but is off to spain on Sat for 2 weeks and OH seems to think that golfing/going out to the pub and leaving me with both kids is fine...
I visited my friend earlier and had a good cry on her shoulder.. did me the world of good but the slightest thing sets me off lately.
Guess i just need to pull my socks up and get on with it....
Right, whinge over. I'm sick of feeling sorry for myself
Hey Tiger, sorry to feel you're not feeling too greatDo you see a Health Visitor? Might be worth talking to her as well, it's not always as easy as just pulling your socks up, you've just had a baby and you have a DS as well, that's a lot going on and you need support and help as well. Was good you were able to visit your friend earlier though. I know how hard it can be, OH and I have no family close by, so I found it quite difficult when I had DD, don't get me wrong OH was great, but when he went back to work it was quite overwhelming as I had no one here that I could lean on and I did find it difficult for a while. OK, I'm rambling now, but I hope you get a bit more support and remember we're always here if you need to get stuff off your chest. Sending you

Yes, I pointed out the fact that your "jest" is having an effect. My opinion is that you are trying to discourage newbies! I am also intitled to my opinion. This wont be the last I say about it, I will pick you up on it each time someone gets confused over it.
Well that sounds like a fun threat Henlans, you are running so true to form tonight;)One by one you try to pick on the oldies from this thread in the hope they disappear, your clever I'll give you that, you put in your nasty little digs and usually someone bites and tonight it just happened to be me..Well you have made some disappear I'll be honest but far more will stay;)Beware!!!!
