Spoke to asda customer service via there contact us website line and they just said about retraining staff didn't take any details and we just realised although they asked where the store was there is 4 in the specific area and they didn't ask which one :([/

Don't forget when Trouted take the workers name/s. when at home make a note of all the points, sit down for five mins and read it back see if you missed anything. Complain, if you feel you have not been dealt with correctly, ask to speak to manager. If that no good write to CEO. Always ask for a summary of the conversation in writing. I did this with my giftcard argument, I now have the rules officially stated by ho.

I did take the names and gave them over to the cs explained everything that happened that the main problem was the attitude of the manager or supposed manager but they weren't really interested, like i said they don't even know what store it is in the town, just what town it is in they didn't even take our contact details :o.
  • Morning guys.
    Trouted last night
My first ever trouting, as i'm probably the quietest/shyest (is that a word) ever person i absolutely hated it as i like to stay well below the radar.
At ss i scanned apg and over she trots looks at it and says cant take this only ones issued after sundays cap.
off she trots to go check.
Comes back with someone else, they both have whispered convo.
then she goes to input it. relief floods through me.then turns to me and says no i dont think i can do it. transaction suspended and traipsed over to customer services.
She tells lady on desk she's not sure what to do and cs lady also says well i dont know. I say shall we ask the manager. she says no lets call *** she comes over and says put it through at £15, I pipe up again shall we ask the manager as he should know correct procedure.
Off *** goes to check with manager comes back and says to just put it through at £15, I ask them then to call head office but they both refuse. So I said fine put it through and i'll call them myself when i get home.
Head office were lovely and apologized about what happened and said they were totally wrong and will be calling them to make sure they know how to handle any future apg's over £15. I'm also getting a gift card in post for the remainder I lost out on. She was absolutely gob smacked that they had capped it at 15 and not even put remainder on a gift card.
I was just going to leave it but glad I called them now.

Thanks for the new thread :T:T
not been on since the last one, they are moving far too quickly for me to keep up at the moment.

Hope you all have a lovely day, suns shining here for a change today.

You sound like my DH, i'm the sports fan in this house and watch everything, even been known to watch bowls at times lol

hubby is out all weekend cause the ryder cup is on, but chelsea are playing sunday so will have a problem there, thank god there is no F1 this weekend cause that is my fav and then i really would have problems

:eek: Oh no, I would have to leave you I'm afraid! :rotfl:
Now I love some sports, tennis, I do like football when it's a good match, or World cup or such like, but even if I am watching it I will still get a running commentary from the OH!

Don't even get me started on Golf!! He's been joking that now he's started playing golf again he's going to watch the Ryder Cup - I told him the telly will be thrown out the window before he puts that on in this house!
And F1, oh dear, I can't even stand that on the tv for a minute so I've never gotten in to it, the noise just does something to me and makes my blood boil!

    Morning All,
Hope today is a good day for everyone, just catching up :D
  • Good morning all!

Hope you all slept well, personally I had a very disturbed night in which I wet the bed - but not in the traditional way!

I always take a drink to bed with me because I snore like a beast in a cave and wake up several times during the night with a dry mouth. Well at one point I must have half-sat up, got my drink, taken a mouthful then fallen back to sleep - still with drink in hand. Soon woke up when it slipped sideways and drenched the mattress though :rotfl:

So at about 2.30am a very sleepy and bemused tyzer was changing the sheets and turning the mattress :D
