I have one, I love it it makes joints of meat go sooooooooo much further I used to spend a fortune each week on o/h sandwich fillings, now I slow cook a joint of whoopsied beef and slice it up and freeze in sandwich portions, next week I will do the same with a gammon, then a boneless turkey crown, they are fiddly to clean, I keep a toothbrush which I dip in milton fluid to clean the nooks and crannies

I got my in argos it was half priced around £17 2-3 years ago

I also slice iceberg lettuces, blocks of cheese, onions amongst other things :)

That sounds brilliant. I did buy a food slicer about a year ago, it was on a good price. But when I got it home I thought in not going to get much use out of it so took it back. But never thought about using it for bread and icebergs etc :)

Just back from SW weigh-in and got my 4 stone award and reached my target (for now anyway, may lose another half stone in a few months)

I would never push anyone to lose weight if they don't want to, but the SW diet is amazing and I'm so glad I finally found something that works without having to be hungry. :D

    Well done Deb :T that's brilliant :j

it's confusing as everything looked the same to me when i first started buying dental, what exactly are you wanting- mouthwash , toothpaste or toothbrushes??

there are 2 types of shops you could do, my favourite is the A vs T because the 6 pack of zigzag toothbushes are in the offer and i think these are great value for [STRIKE]free[/STRIKE] money you are paying:D:p also you don't have to but the steradents ;)

trigger item for A vs T shop

NOTE I HAVE NOT FOUND THE "TRIPLE" COOL STRIPE IN A SINGLE STORE, I HAVE ONLY FOUND "COOL STRIPE" AND THIS WORKS FINE AS THE TRIGGER

Thanks :T I couldn't find the triple stripe either and the SA said its new stock and it doesn't have the word triple anymore. But when I looked at the SEL it said triple but the barcodes were different so I didn't want to risk it. wish I did now. But there's always tomorrow :D

    Good morning all.

I am supposed to be in bed but I have spent four hours reading through these threads since coming across APG glitch following a Google alert on "double the difference" that I had set from DTD days... and I arrived at that party late just before they introduced the cap then called time :( I haven't been on this thread for a while and look what I have missed!

Is there still time to catch up/stock up with the £15 limit in place or am I too late? Cereals, cleaning items, toothpaste are all interest (as just getting down to the last since DTD ;).

Stupid question alert - will Asda self-scan accept the APG vouchers or do they need to manually checked by a member of staff (as I know you need a receipt)?

... and any APG offers on beer or wine, or am I just pushing my luck?

    Many thanks
