Just thinking out loud so ignore me if already discussed but if i were managing Mr T's promotions i would be scrapping any 2 for 1s or 3 for 2's because this is like pushing us all into Mr A's.
I miss quite a lot of posts through working and looking after my DD but i was just wondering if other options have been tried and tested recently such as multibuys that are 2 for £3, with 4 for £3 or 6 for £3 at Mr S at the moment? I would be very happy to try it if it hasn't been tried and failed0 -
Think the ethos is that if you are expecting a larger than £15 apg then you might as well have a "packet of sausages" as sada will keep the extra value of the apg anyway
But by doing that your essentially paying full price or more for something. Surely you should just buy less items and buy the reduced items in a separate shop.0 -
Not if you need the item, you can buy it in A knowing you are getting the cheapest price for the item compared to say T (v colgate) and reduce your apg. If you were going to but the item anyway.
If I was going to do a shop of groceries i would normaly split the shop so the things i was buying anyway but were probably dearer in Ts wouldnt affect my APG in and adverse way. Now i will add them to my glitch shop and be able to get an extra glitch ( or 2) but not affect the APG. Still going to spend the same, just getting more glitch in one shop.
E.G. let's assume I do 2 shops at MrA
Glitch shop v T (for colgate):
Fillers + 3 colgate
Total spend= £17.50 =APG £14.50
Non glitch but needed items v T:
Chicken breast, choccy buscuits, single malt? Etc.
Total spend= £30 ASDA was cheaper = no APG
Let's presume the single malt was £4.50 cheaper in A and I included it in my first shop, this would reduce the APG but my overall spend would still be the same, if I then added another 3 glitch items to the first shop it would increase my overall spend but also increase the APG.
Having said all that it is now clear as mud for me, I am confused.:rotfl:
I think that explains it better than I did!:D
Tomorrow I will experiment.
I am going to get a W shop that will have an APG of about £25 but....
I will also buy these, (which I need) x4
Persil Small & Mighty Colour Biological Liquid Capsules - 10 Washes (10)
£2-50 in A. £5 in W. :eek::eek:
So my APG should be about £15:):)N1LDA:D0 -

aggghhhh!!!
I'm trying to stay calm and not think about cigarettes!!
This whole family thing is driving me insane, just spoken to my mum and there is a viewing at my grandad's today, there was one yesterday also.
I don't want some strangers treading around his house whilst his stuff is still there, god I am trying so hard not to scream!!
I think I might just have to be there later on when the viewers turn up and act all suprised.
Oh and the reason it's still on the market is my stupid cowbag of an Aunty applied for Probate and got it - done behind my mum and uncles back.
You have done really well so far so don't let this ruin all your good work. :A Go and have a good scream, as loud as you can outside. If you feel a bit self-conscious doing this then have a good scream into your pillow. Hopefully it will release some of your anger.N1LDA0 -

Spent a couple of APG's just over £15 today with no problems.
The SA in the George section was really funny, she said 'ooooooh you got ones of those glitchy ones' and looked really excited!!
Cereal & cleaning still working, used blue bag of oats as a trigger. Lost myself £1 by buying other things I shouldn't have done with the same shop (59p on a bag of brown sugar, and 59p on total 2% greek yog), but not too worried :-)0 -
