I understand the principle but am struggling with the detail e.g. does there have to be at least 8 comparable items as appears to be implied? Do I understand correctly that there is a 'trigger' item which encourages the 'glitch' to come into operation? I've made a purchase today based on my own comprison of prices but don't know yet if it will work. I've looked fully through this tread but suspect I need to look at the original thread which I don't appear to be able to access. Can anybody give me a link to the original thread?

I think asda have taken this glitch and been very good about it.
Stores have been a little funny sometimes but HO has been really respectful and allowed people to contiune to use the glitch.
I have no doubt that HO appreciate all the benefits of the scheme, including the fact that the glitches will attract custimers to their stores. That plus the word of mouth recommendation is worth a lot to them.
The stores will see it differenly - some managers may feel they wil be criticised for too many APGs being used. Some supervisors may feel that rules ar ebeing twisted and think its thier job to stop it
HO conversely want to make sure that customers to not have a bad experience in store as they would suffer from being seen as stingy.
So as usage increased HO needed a stratgey that would allow them to still be seen as cheapest but stopped them being seen as weak on what the public would see as cheating.
There was no being nice about it - its all cold hard business.I'm sorry, these vouchers are only exchangeable for abuse!0 -

As I`v been on the wine I hope it can be deciphered here,as I may be missing something:)0 -
However, as running a business, you are sat on stock of £8670, so if you look at the net value of the business, if you take the £1200 cash used as a loan, which was repaid by the sale of £1200 of stock, then your left with £7470 in stock value. Therefore over the period of trading you have increased the net worth of the business/made a profit of £7470, which could be taxable.
My knowledge is more about Ltd Companies than Sole Traders, which is what you would be classed as, but IMO it is a grey area.
I would be thinking about keeping some of the better stock to sell incase I was asked to pay a tax bill........
I will try and make it simple for you:
I buy a tv for £100, I pay £50 cash and a £50 coupon, I sell it for £75 cash. I have made a loss of £250 -
CAN WE ALL PLEASE PUT A 4P SOCK IN IT REGARDING TAX, POSSIBLE MORAL OR FINANCIAL ISSUES AROUND GLITCHING AND ANY OTHER JUDGEMENTAL RUBBISH?!
WE ARE HERE TO GLITCH NOT B*TCH!!!!
JUST BELT UP!!!!!
Now, someone asked about a drink.......I will break with tradition please and add a large measure of Southern Comfort to my Pepsi Max on the rocks, cheers barman/lady!
We can of course - but it seems everyone wants to have the final say.... maybe just start talking about something else like we tried earlier and the argument will be starved.I'm sorry, these vouchers are only exchangeable for abuse!0 -
