Its my term of endearment for the dull-witted "shopper X"
:rotfl::rotfl: Well in that case, my sincerest apologies! I thought it was a typo and didn't want people to get the wrong end of the stick!
Nice to see you on form as always, a real asset to this thread in these times of animosity!:D:)
Gwrys yn Kernow! :j0 -
I for one applaud henlans for making the most of it and being honest about it. Fact is lots of people will have done similar and kept quiet.
Everyone to their own, and I wouldn't worry about his few sales it's hard to put a figure on carboot sales where things will have different values to their actual costs.
I also think its incredibly nosey and rude to question people's tax declarations, being a tax payer does not automatically entitle you to know everyone's personal details.
I thought this debate had pretty much died - but we can always reopen it if you really want.
The bottom line is there is clear disagreement on this across the forum and prpbably accross society
I for don't applaud henlans pushing the system to the max. Being honest about it is actually one of the problems.
With car boot sales, the potential for resale gain is huge.
Its not nosey to point out that income needs to be declared nor rude to do so. Some might say it was exactly the right thing to do. Noone asked for henlans details to my knowledge.
So - can we move on? can we?I'm sorry, these vouchers are only exchangeable for abuse!0 -
Ok.. Im going to try and settle the record stright.
I have spent about £1200 buying the products from asda which in total value is x amount.
I will now sell £1200 worth of the products to pay back the money I spent in the first place.
This is no profit. The main reason for taking part in this glitch is to save myself and family members money in the future. I am not a business nor am I going to start one.
I do not claim benifits, I have a job.
Anyone buying goods with the intention of re-selling them is running a business....regardless of any profit or loss made. You can still be self employed and also work for an employer. You will still have to declare your 'earnings' to the Inland Revenue although in your case it will be a 'loss' and no income tax will be due. The unfortunate thing then is that you will also need to declare the income from your everyday job/pension/interest from banks etc.
I know because I run an ebay business and have a regular part time job but declare all income...mainly because I think is the correct thing to do and also because I want to sleep at nights:D
Please be careful what you say.0 -
Goodnight all. xIt`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
The world is full of people throwing stones at us. Its what you do with them that counts. Build a wall or build a bridge.0 -

Please tell me what they are headed before the s'market chain puts this to bed.
All I want is a link to an example or explanation please.
Thanks
Have a look at Fudge's list that she kindly made. Hope that helps!

The hair glitch with Tesco no longer works, the cereal, cleaning and toothpaste against w still works, but not too sure about the rest.0 -

This store is local to me but it's hard work using apg vouchers there, they also won't take the beanz vouchers as there's no coupon safe logo on them, so I've given up on using those vouchers.
the store is a nightmare localish for me also if you are able to go to others me and a friend havent had any problems or questions makes such a change - cribbs+bedminster are fine
i think the store does look out for people doing the apg shops we were being watched and different staff watching bits in our trolleys alot easier shopping in a different storeTake care of the pence and the pounds will take care of themselvesSealed Pot Challenge No.1902 - Target £250 :cool2:0 -
