    I just used a £16 APG in T's just to get rid of it and didn't want any hassle in A's.

    Do T's really take them ?

    They took mine last November. When there was a chance to appear to talk about couponing. I had mine taken in T. The guy just walked in and said we should ask but I dont have time. So headed down the pasta sauce isle. Took lots of pictures and not one made it into the paper. :cry:

    They also did not print one word on my interview. :(

    i agree :) Although I appreciate that some people will be seriously affected by minor ailments, i do feel that parents today pamper their children too much...this isnt aimed at anyone on here before I get shot down too :rotfl:

    When I was young, we would play outside in alsorts of weather (dressed accordingly though), we didnt have central heating on all the time, and we ate proper food. I lived near a country park with a lake, and in the school holidays, we would all swim in the lake....we'd go home caked in green sludge and mud...but we loved it!! I used to make mud pies and have tea parties with my friends and dolls in the garden...and even sit in our garden pond trying to catch tadpoles. I grew up with animals...whereby I was allowed to touch them and play with them. Never once have I been seriously poorly nor admitted to hospital. I rarely get coughs and colds or tummy bugs even now, despite being a smoker....and I think a lot of it is down to having built up a good immune system as a kid.

    My own kids (4 and 2 years) have grown up with our Staffy giving them licks and kisses....they play outside getting dirty, if they drop a carrot or something on the dining room floor, they pick it up and eat it....DD2 has never had any tummy problems...never once vomited..and only time DD1 did was when me and her ate something dodgy from a buffet at a party. They rarely get coughs and colds either. They eat soo much fruit and veg its scary...although they do eat carp too :rotfl::rotfl:

    I have a friend who virtually polishes her children, they're so squeaky clean....they rarely play outside, have no pets, and are always being wiped clean. If anyone around them has a bug, they're not allowed near them!!! Yet they are forever at the doctors with coughs, colds, ear infections and tummy bugs.

    Only using my own experiences, I believe that the stronger your immune system, the more resilient you will be fighting any bugs....but your immune system will only gain strength from being subjected to germs in the first place:rotfl::rotfl:

    I agree with this, more kids have allergies these days and it seems to be connected to the fear of dirt, you need to be exposed to allergens so you can build up a resistance otherwise your system will freak out if, when you're 5 for example, you're suddenly exposed to air with a high pollen count. It was like me when I was 19 going to London for a day and I my nose bunged up like I had a cold and I couldn't breathe properly, now after several trips over the years, I have a resistance and no longer react.

    I'm not saying allergies are caused by over-cautious parents in their entirety, I know there are many causes for various allergies, but there seems to be a much increased prevalence of certain allergies over the last decade and it definitely seems to coincide with the whole 'clean-freak' phenomenon.

    At this moment in time we would be greatful if you could arrange glitches on the following items....

    .....Beer, wine, spirits etc (for christmas and any day with a "y" in it)

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Seconded! My friend Bronwen wants nothing but glitched Rose wine for xmas now after I told her how much I paid for it! If it's a good glitch she'll get around 12 bottles! :D

    Xmas Saver!
    Methinks Henlans may be singled out and banned from Sada shortly. No offence Henlans, and I hope they don't, but would not be surprised.

    I always found them handy to save up points to buy Xmas pressies for the family. May I ask what places are best for recycling ink cartridges please? I heard someone mention Ts do it but I've not heard any feedback.

    i use Ts when I'm recycling Ts own cartridges as they give 100 points per cartridge...these are classed as non-virgin cartridges, so other companies wont pay out very much for them, so 100 points is a great deal! For my non virgin cartridges I use various companies...whoever is paying the most....currently £3.45 per colour cartridge for my HP printer :D
    hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!
