Forgot customs label for USA

God I'm so annoyed at myself!
Sold an item of clothing to the USA, posted it on Fri and just found the cutoms label still on my roll here. GRRR.
It was low value second hand (£10), probably costs £25 new.
Does anyone know what will happen? Will it come back to me or will the buyer be charged anything? Could kick myself!

In all probability it will get there no problem. I have forgotten the customs label a few times and the parcels always got there.0

I sold an item to a USA buyer, arranged the courier and sent it off.
As well as the normal potage label sent to me from the courier (UPS) therer was also a customs form. I didn't know about this. The courier collcted it and off it went.
Sadly a few days later the local agent phoned to say it had been returned and was at the UPS local depot.
I had to pay again ... not the full amount, but about 50% of my original courier cost.
I never made the mistake again0 -
I bet it was returned by UPS themselves rather than a customs official. UPS are sticklers for rules.I sold an item to a USA buyer, arranged the courier and sent it off.

Last Christmas, I sent a present via airmail to the USA and forgot the customs label.
It got through no problem - I didn't realise until the recipient mentioned it was missing."The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing.
