How on earth can a cat carry a chicken. :rotfl:
You'd think it would be too big and/or heavy. Or hot.
....cos they've got high hopes, they've got hiiiiiiiiiiiigh hopes......
I'm just jealous. All I get are crunchies, shoelaces, furry duck toys and the aforementioned paintbrushes.
Oh, and CPR every morning. [as he lands with a DOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF]I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

pixelation wrote: »Awww these "best hunt prize" stories remind me of my Bellamy cat (RIP). On a warm, spring Sunday afternoon he brought home a still-steaming, whole freshly cooked chicken and tried to get it through the catflap. We think someone is still looking for the meat they left to rest on the kitchen side.
We came home one Christmas Day after having lunch out. I tripped over a large gammon joint on the floor of the kitchen and was cursing my forgetfulness for not putting it away safely. I then remembered that I did not have a gammon joint.....
Nor, it seems, does someone else:rotfl:0 -
Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!

I would tend to let the dog out and see what happens. If he chases it, it's nature, if the cat fights back, you'll know to keep him in.
I too have a half witted cat. Think she's getting a bit of dementia now, if she accidentally gets shut out she goes to the neighbours' door to demand to be let back in :rotfl:
So we don't let her out much now.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -
We used to live next door to a large pub. We have an aviary in the garden with external feeders for the birds. The feeders suddenly started going missing - luckily we had spares. After popping into the pub for a pint, the landlady was laughing at her new young cat - look what he's been bringing home! She'd kept hold of them just in case.
After that, we had to make it a weekly date - a pint and collecting our feeders!0 -
Dennis looks just like my Big Bad Bill cat...he's too lazy for nicking stuff though! He's spent ALL day on my bed

Nah.
She's just decided she's had enough of you and is trying to run away from home.
