Years ago I had a cat that used to catch blanket weed from the next garden along. She would proudly bring it into the house and sit by it meowing loudly until I had inspected it, told her she was a good girl, and gave her a stroke. Then she would pick up the slime and trot off outside with it......
I miss her.

How on earth can a cat carry a chicken. :rotfl:
You'd think it would be too big and/or heavy. Or hot.
He was the son of a prized Siamese (kept inside and pampered) and the big black tomcat from down the road. He was very much his father's cat!
His most prized catch was a stoat. A stoat! Those things are seriously vicious. If you found this post useful please will you click "thank you"? It cheers me up. :j0 -
My old cat Maxi from when I was a child once wrestled a frozen chicken from off the top part of the cooker (about 6ft up) onto the kitchen floor.
Dad retrieved it, there were just a few teeth marks through the plastic bag and into the top of the skin, so we defrosted, cooked and ate it.Make £2026 in 2026

Most likely. I wonder if she'll be so keen to get in their house now that they've got a dog. Ah we're coming up to winter now. Spend about half hour last year trying to get her to come out in the snow, she just look at me like I had 2 heads, I wonder who the daft one is :rotfl:4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -
My cat has come in with a still hot chicken wing - presumably off someone's barbecue, but usually she brings in rubbish, bottle tops, lumps of moss oh and a fried egg!
Best bit is she only has supervised access outside (due to health problems) but the chicken wing and fried egg both occurred on days where she got into neighbours garden!0 -
one of my cats does that, chases anything but fails to catch them, the only notable skill he has is shagging my dressing gowns, i can never bring myself to wear them again:eek::(
