Brought my car from Approved car finance with the finance from Welcome, have defaulted on payments due to personal circumstances they contacted me and obviously wanted money from me, by mutual agreement agreed they could take the car back then didnt hear from them for months now received a letter saying they are taking me to court via their solicitor. What is the best thing i can do? I really dont want the car its sitting up at my old house awaiting them to collect, but they havent!

Sarah, try and post this on the Debt Free Wanabee forum. There is plenty of experience and word of widsom to be found on there. I have seen Welcome car finance mentioned many times before, none of it favourable.0
