Extra cabling will be required to comply with part M anyway.
If OP doesn't apply for a dropped kerb and just bounces his car across the kerb/pavement to park in in his garden councils can and have been known to, erect bollards all along the garden edge of the pavement to prevent access whether or not the car is in there at the time they do it.

Refurbishing a house and not rewiring is total madness.
It's highly likely there won't be enough sockets in the rooms, or they will be in the wrong places. Homes today have vast amounts of electrical items, most of which simply didn't exist 20-30 years ago.
True, my house only had one or two sockets per room and I've added more. However, if the basic wiring is OK, adding more sockets is not difficult and should not involve rewiring.
But definitely do it before redecorating!Solar install June 2022, Bath

I'm not going to give you figures - but from past experience of a total renovation of two cottages into one, when my OH was an experienced engineering estimator, I know that when he worked out the total, he added another 22-28% to allow for contingencies - I argued that that could break us, he countered that without that, we might be spending a whole lot more. He was right - in actual fact we needed 30% more.0

Hi,
There are many players in market for the renovation and relocation. You need to take help of internet or your friends who use these facilities before.0 -

In home renovation there are several players who can do the job for you. There cost is depend upon how would you search the service provider for this work and how would you negotiate with them.0

Well, estimate is always complicated. Depends what material you wan to use etc.0

My parents are getting similar work done. At least £30K and that is without buying all the kitchen stuff, carpets, anything else that you need after. Saved on decorating as we have decorators in the family. The guy does good work as he did my brothers house and others so do ask around about prices.0
